The Astria Game

For Today's activity we got to play a game called Astria. The focus was based on critical thinking.

A student in another school has recently blogged that:
“Students don’t learn much playing this game called Astria –
Countdown to Impact: Their time could be better spent doing other
things”.
Do you agree, disagree or partly agree/disagree?

Blog about what you think using evidence from the game to backup
your views.

Today's visitor was Naomi. She goes the University of Auckland.
She came to show us a game called Astria. The game was kind of
hard because we had choices, and we had to choose wisely,
we also worked with a buddy. In the game we had to
figure out how to save the world/planet. We also had
to find 6 documents and explore the Spaceship

  1. Kia Ora Ana my name is Ana as well and, I go to Glen Innes School. I really enjoyed reading your writing about a game that you have tried. Guess what? I have tried playing the Astria game and trust me it is really difficult and, it has lots of critically thinking. What part was so confusing?👍

I hope you have seen my comment but please leave a comment.

  2. Hi Ana, did you find the game useful in terms of learning? What did it prompt you to think about to help solve the problems? Looking forward to reading your response to my questions.

Well It just like knowing how to solve things that can lead to clues or fixing the problems. It's like when trying to find different information to look in different ways. Like talking to your partner's and trying to find out or read information and, disagreeing and agreeing with each other.

    What do you think?🤔

When you have finish reading my comment pls
    comment on what you think?

    Bye:)
