The Olympics

  The Olympics

This year the Olympics are being held in Rio De Janeiro. People are so happy for the olympics to be in there country. We need the olympics because it provides more people to do sports and to keep them healthy also what’s special about the olympics is that it brings all the people together to celebrate for their country. So many friends come together and celebrate and some even cry and get emotional and jump up and down. Athletes train every day to get prepared for the olympics.

When Justin Gatlin trains he uses hypo speed cameras to catch videos of justin gatlin's speed and if there is something wrong with it then they would do something to fix it up and make it better. We need the olympics because it provides more people to do sports and to keep them healthy. What’s special about the olympics is that it brings all the people together to celebrate for their country.

Swimmer’s have been working with Under Armor to make the best swim suits. Their swim suits that they make are flexible and stretchy. Their swim suits are also tight and makes them swim faster than they have before. When the athletes finished their sports they were very emotional some athletes were crying some athletes were so happy. If you were an athlete and you won a medal what would you feel like?

Avengers Assemble

There once was a group called The Avengers and The Villains. Every team would always complain and say bad words about the other team. Some people would get angry from what the other team says and some people will try to fight them. Later on that day joker goes to his villain team and tells them that the avengers wanted to battle. So the villain team got angry at the avengers. The villain team got ready for the battle. So joker went over to iron man and told him to give this note to captain america. The avengers got ready to battle too! But there was still something wrong captain america wanted to have a chat with his team so they did. He asked them why they are having the battle so iron man gave him the not. On the note it said hahahaha got you I joker tricked because I just wanted to battle you guys because I know that we will beat you.

They went to the battlegrounds in the stadium and met with the villains. Joker appears out of nowhere with a great big smile. Joker said with a angry tone to his voice Nice to meet you losing team. Then a minute later the rest of the team appeared. They finally started to battle. There goes Iron man flying up to Green goblin giving him a great big punch. It sounded like KAPOW POW BOOM SMACK!

Everyone cheered for iron man saying yeah iron you got this use your powers so he grabbed out his gun and said to green goblin “say goodbye missy pie!” Green goblin looked at iron man and all he could see was three bullets flying to his face so he tries to duck but it was to late he was found lying on the ground.

The next people fight and that was hulk and venom but there was a problem hulk said no! I am not going to fight venom alone. So there goes a big scream from hulk's voice saying

AVENGERS ASSEMBLE. So the whole team just jumps into the fight and all you see was dust going round and round.

Will He Save Her

Superman is watching television and he changes the channel to the news, he hears that Joker is hanging a lady called mary jane upside down from a 50 story building. This must be a job for Superman! So Superman ripped his shirt open to reveal the most famous of S’s and changed into Superman! He went to the building as soon as he got their Joker cut the rope and so Superman flew up and catched Mary Jane so she survived and superman took her to safety and said

“I need to go and deal with this bad guy” He was on his way to go and finish of his job.

As soon as he got there he flew to the top of the building and said to joker “This is going to be over soon” Joker replied, This is not the end Super pants. Superman said do not  tease my name I am a master of all rises Joker replied and said let’s just get this over and done with superman said deal.                           

They started to battle. Helicopters were flying above their heads speaking on the microphone saying stop joker you won’t get away with this any more so Joker was focusing on the helicopters telling him to stop so Superman flew up to him and did a big great punch.

KAPOW BOOM POW there goes Joker falling of the building until superman realises that Joker is missing but the cops call him and say that they already took him to jail. So mary jane comes up to superman and says Thank You very much for saving my life and for taking him away.

My Narritive Writing

It all started on 1992 October 2nd on Tuesday at Glen Ines.     

There were 2 boys fighting over a mountain called Maungarei. There names were Everest and Eden. They were fighting in the forest. As they were fighting they saw a man walking towards them. As the man came and he stopped them from fighting and said why don’t we change the name to Mt Wellington.

Volcanoes of the world

We had to create a google maps and we had to put on volcanos we have searched.We had to create it because this term we are learning about volcanoes.

We used google maps and on google maps we located volcanoes from New Zealand or from around the world.

When we did this task we were learning to find out about volcanoes around the world to pin on a map. We were also learning to make a meaning of a range by texts and by identifying main ideas in them and then translating the information and ideas that we learnt into our own words. What I enjoyed about volcanoes was that we got to research volcanoes around the world and that we got to learn facts about the volcanoes.
